Mardi Gras is always a favorite here at Indian Trails. Our employees work hard and have fun decorating the store so nicely. There is just that festive mood in the air.

We started out the Mardi Gras festivities with a craft time. The kids make masks to wear in the parade. The Mardi Gras parade goes around the lake and everyone did a great job decorating their bikes and received a token for a free ice cream cone or slush for participating in the parade.

In 2008 we had Black Pot Demo’s here doing a 3 hour outdoor demonstration on cooking over the campfire.

They will be back for Christmas in July 2009(July 25th)

We finished off the day with a Mardi Gras dance. New for this year, we will be adding a Mardi Paws Parade for all of the dogs in camp. We look forward to you spending a fun filled Mardi Gras weekend with us! See you June 26th.

No more fancy cooking equipment, they demonstrated how to make meals in a brown bag and cook eggs in an orange.
