Tis the Season to be Camping! We prefer the weather for Christmas in July rather than the real Christmas in December. Santa made his usual rounds around the campground handing out candy canes and a coupon for a free ice cream cone or slush to children ages 12 and under. His longest lasting stop is always at the beach as it is usually hot and sunny and the beach and swimming lake is packed with campers.

We had a Christmas craft for kids in the morning and Holiday Bingo in the afternoon. There were some very nicely decorated sites for the site decoration contest. Red the Magician performed some Christmas magic as he amazed the audience with his magic acts. We look forward to Santa paying us a visit and hope all our camper boys and girls will be on the nice list so they can get a candy cane and coupon from Santa.
